Lauren Ash

 

Lauren Elizabeth Ash, born on the 4th of February, 1983, is a Canadian comedian and actress based in Los Angeles. She was originally from Belleville, Ontario. Ash is most famous among people who watch television for her role in Superstore as Dina Fox. Ash is also a grad of the Second City Toronto Mainstage as well as Second City Chicago mainstage. She is also two of the sketch comedy duo "Cory!" She was a Canadian Comedy Award recipient for Best Female Improviser two times in 2006 and 2007, and also received the award for Best Performance by a Female TV in 2012 and 2015. In 2015 she was nominated to be nominated for the category of Best Female Performances in a Feature Film for her performance as Carol in Dirty Singles. She also appeared on the prank show "Scare Techniques". From 2020 onwards, Lauren co-hosts her own podcast, "True Crime and Cocktails" alongside her cousin, Christy Oxborrow.
